Is the Nigerian Airforce Recruitment Form Out?

Yes, the Nigerian Airforce Recruitment form is now out! The registration period for the trade and non-trade men/women, will last from August 21, 2024 to October 2, 2024. The application process is free, and no payments should be made at any stage.

General Requirements for Applicants

  1. Nationality: You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth and possess a National Identity Card (NIN) or BVN.
  2. Age:
    • For non-tradesmen/women: 18-22 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 2003, and September 20, 2007).
    • For tradesmen/women: 18-25 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 2000, and September 20, 2007).
    • For Chaplain Assistants, Assistant Imams, and Drivers/Mechanics: 18-28 years old by September 20, 2025 (born between September 21, 1997, and September 20, 2007).
  3. Marital Status: All applicants must be single.
  4. Height: Minimum height is 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.
  5. Medical Fitness: Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit according to NAF standards.
  6. Local Government Attestation: A signed attestation form from a military officer (minimum rank of Wing Commander) or equivalent civil officer is required. This form must include a passport photo and a copy of the signatory’s ID.
  7. Original Credentials: Successful candidates must present original documents during the Selection Board Interview, including:
    • Birth certificate or age declaration
    • Educational and trade certificates
    • Indigene certificate
    • Attestation to good character
  8. Fraudulent Applications: False information or impersonation will result in disqualification, potential withdrawal from training, and prosecution. NAF does not entertain queries regarding rejected applications.

Academic Requirements

Non-Tradesmen/Women: Applicants must have a minimum of 5 credits, including Mathematics and English, in not more than 2 sittings (SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB). School testimonials are also required.

Tradesmen/Women: Requirements vary depending on the trade. For example:

  • ND/NCE Holders: Must have at least a lower credit from accredited institutions, plus 5 credits in Mathematics and English.
  • Drivers: Must have 2 passes in SSCE/NECO/GCE/NABTEB, a Trade Test Certificate, and a valid driving license.
  • Sportsmen/Women: Must present evidence of professional experience, such as certificates and medals.

Important Note: Applicants with HND, First Degrees, Post-Graduate Certificates, or University Diplomas will not be considered for recruitment as airmen/airwomen.
