Category A: Customs Superintendent Cadre

- Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized university or polytechnic.
- NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption Certificate is mandatory.
Category B: Customs Inspector Cadre
- Role: General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals
- Console Level: 06
- Requirements:
- OND, NCE, or an equivalent qualification from a recognized polytechnic or institution.
Category C: Customs Assistant Cadre
- Role: General Duty and Support Staff/Professionals
- Console Levels: 03, 04
- Requirements:
- A Secondary School Certificate (e.g., WAEC, NECO, or GCE) with at least five (5) credits, including Mathematics and English.
- Alternatively, a Trade Test Certificate or proficiency certificates issued by the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity.
NCS Recruitment Exercise Requirements
To be eligible for the NCS recruitment, candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a Nigerian citizen with a valid means of identification.
- Must hold a degree from a recognized tertiary institution and possess O-level results with credits in relevant subjects.
- Applicants should be between 18 and 35 years old.
- Must be free from any physical deformities that could impair duty performance.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.7 meters tall; female applicants must be at least 1.64 meters tall.
- Male applicants should have a minimum chest measurement of 0.87 meters.
