Congratulations to all candidates who have successfully passed the Nigerian Navy Basic Training School (NNBTS) Batch 36 Recruitment Examination held on February 17, 2024! Your names have been published on the Nigerian Navy Shortlist.

Shortlisted candidates are now invited to attend interviews, which will be conducted in two batches:

  • Batch A: March 30 – April 8, 2024
  • Batch B: April 10 – April 20, 2024

Interview Locations by Region

  • North East and North West: Nigerian Defence Academy Old Site
  • North Central and South West: Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Ojo, Lagos
  • South East and South South: Nigerian Navy Secondary School, Borokiri, Port Harcourt

How to Check the 2024 Nigerian Navy Shortlisted Candidates List

If you want to find out if you’ve made it to the Nigerian Navy shortlist for the Basic Training School Batch 36, follow these simple steps:

  1. Open your browser and go to www.joinnigeriannavy.com
  2. Use your Application ID to log in.
  3. Once logged in, look for the “Shortlisted Candidates” link.
  4. Click on “Check Names.”
  5. A PDF file containing the list of shortlisted candidates will appear. Check for your name and details.

What to Bring – Interview Requirements

  • Application Forms: Printout of duly signed application forms.
  • Credentials: Originals and photocopies of all credentials.
  • Drivers’ Licence: Originals and photocopies (Category H only).
  • State of Origin Certificate: Original and photocopy.
  • National Identity Card: Or acknowledgment slip.
  • Writing Materials: Pens, pencils, and notepads.
  • Clothing: Two pairs of navy blue shorts and two white (unmarked) T-shirts.
  • Footwear: A pair of canvas shoes/trainers and stockings.
  • Bedding: Bed sheets and pillowcases.
  • Cutlery: Set of cutlery.
  • Photographs: Four recent 30x30mm passport-sized photographs on a white background.
  • Toiletries: Personal bathing and washing soaps, toothpaste, brush, etc.
  • Bank Verification Number (BVN): A copy of your BVN.

Important Instructions:

  • Screening: Candidates must undergo credential verification, medical/physical evaluation, and a written test.
  • Individual Interviews: Candidates will be interviewed individually. Failure to meet criteria at any stage may lead to disqualification.
  • False Information: Providing fake or incorrect information will result in cancellation of candidature and possible prosecution.
  • Medical History: Accurate disclosure of medical history is mandatory. Failure to do so can lead to automatic withdrawal and dismissal from service.
  • Attendance: Candidates must report to the specified center for their state of origin on the stipulated date for their batch. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of candidature.
  • Forgery and Impersonation: Candidates with false documents or those who engage in impersonation will be arrested and prosecuted.
