Is the Nigerian Airforce Recruitment Form Out?
Yes, the Nigerian Airforce Recruitment form is now available! Online registration began earlier this year on January 29, 2024, and ended on March 11, 2024. Please note that candidates born before December 15, 1994 (or 1984 for medical consultants) are not eligible to apply.
Currently, only applications for the Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) program are being accepted. Make sure to submit your application before the deadline on Monday, March 11, 2024.
Requirements for Nigerian Airforce 2024 Recruitment
To apply for the NAF DSSC 2024 Recruitment, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a Nigerian citizen by birth or origin.
- Candidates must be between 20 and 30 years old by December 15, 2024 (25-40 years for Medical Consultants).
- Height: Minimum height is 1.66m for males and 1.63m for females.
- You must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit according to Nigerian Air Force standards.
- Local Government Area Attestation Form: This must be signed by a military officer (not below the rank of Wing Commander), an equivalent in the Army or Navy, a Police Officer of the rank of Assistant Commissioner and above, or by a Local Government Chairman/Secretary, Magistrate, or School Principal. It should include the signee’s passport photograph and a photocopy of their ID.
- Original Credentials: You must present originals and photocopies of your birth certificate, educational/professional certificates, indigeneship certificate, and attestation of good character. Also, provide two recent passport-size photos stamped and countersigned by the appropriate officer.
- Impersonation Warning: Using false documents will result in disqualification and possible prosecution.
- Application Form: After completing the forms, print the Acknowledgment Form, Parent/Guardian Consent Form, and Local Government Area Attestation Form.
- Invitation for Interview: Successful applicants will be invited for the Selection Board Interview Exercise via the portal www.nafrecruitment.airforce.mil.ng, email, or phone.
Academic Qualifications
- Degree Requirements: Minimum of Second Class Lower Division for first-degree holders, Lower Credit for HND holders.
- Basic Requirements: Credit in English Language and Mathematics is mandatory. Computer literacy is an added advantage.
- NYSC Certificate: Applicants must possess an NYSC Discharge Certificate or a Letter of Exemption at the time of application.
- Professional Certificates: Where applicable, applicants must have certificates of full registration with their respective professional bodies in Nigeria.
