Note: The deadline for the 2024 Post-UTME registration was extended, giving more time for students to submit their application.
EXTENDED DEADLINE: September 30, 2024 (Midnight). Make sure you apply within this period to avoid missing out!
Who Is Eligible?
- Post-UTME Candidates: If you scored a minimum of 150 in your JAMB UTME, you are eligible to apply! Even if FUTO wasn’t your first choice, don’t worry—you can still apply after changing your institution on the JAMB CAPS portal.
- Direct Entry Candidates: If you have an OND, HND, First Degree, or A’Level in relevant fields, you’re also eligible to apply. Make sure your academic transcript reaches FUTO before the application deadline.
Programme Requirements: What’s Your JAMB Score?
FUTO offers a variety of programs, and each has its minimum JAMB score requirement. Check where you fit in:
- Programmes Requiring 150 and Above: Includes fields like Agriculture, Biochemistry, Environmental Science, Project Management, and Health Technology.
- Programmes Requiring 170 and Above: Includes Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical), and Microbiology.
- Programmes Requiring 200 and Above: If you’re aiming for Medicine and Surgery, you’ll need to score at least 200 in JAMB.
How Will the Screening Work?
The screening process will be based on your verified JAMB score, as well as the results you’ve uploaded on JAMB’s Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). It’s important that your O’Level results (WAEC/GCE/NECO/NABTEB) are correctly uploaded by before September 30, 2024, for consideration.
Important Tips Before You Apply
- Ensure that your information on the FUTO portal matches what’s on your JAMB CAPS profile, including your registration number, date of birth, and state of origin.
- Enter a valid email and mobile number so the university can reach you easily.
- Don’t forget to send your academic transcripts to the FUTO Registrar by September 30, 2024. Failure to do so may lead to disqualification.
How to Apply for the 2024 FUTO Post-UTME/DE Screening
The application fee is N2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira). Here’s a quick guide to get you started:
- Visit the FUTO website: FUTO Undergraduate Portal
- Generate an invoice by entering your JAMB registration number.
- Pay the required fee either online with your ATM card or at any bank using the provided Remita Retrieval Reference Number (RRR).
- After payment, log back into the portal and complete the application form.
